Erith, as a family run business, believes in supporting the local community through the recruitment of local staff and supporting good causes: • One of our staff is a trained CECA ambassador for schools and regularly goes into schools providing information on the construction industry and what we do at Erith. We offer assistance with key business in schools events such as "Dragons Den" interviews and Sixth Form projects • We are committed to the employment of local apprentices • We support local charities and good causes including sponsoring a local bus service • Members of staff regularly take part in the London to Brighton and London to Paris Bike Rides and London Marathon in support of the British Heart and Lily Foundations • We sponsor 3 roundabouts in partnership with Bexley Council • For our 40th anniversary we donated £40,000 to good causes • We sponsor a local Rugby Club who has a programme of engaging with young people in the community • We assisted the neighbourhood in clearing an overgrown site next to where we were working by providing manpower and equipment gratis
